Lesson 3

Launch – Record Your Pitch

You’ve got this. Tell a story that can shake the world…or at least the audience.

You’ve shaped your story.  You’ve built your pitch.

Now it’s time to say it out loud, share it, and own it.

Your Steps Today:

1. Watch the video above.

  • Tips for recording if you’re camera-shy
  • Slide deck vs video vs creative formats
  • Why real > perfect

2. Develop your pitch deck and choose:

Pick one format from the list below:

OptionWhat to Do
Video PitchRecord a 1–2 minute video of you talking to camera or showing your idea. Keep it raw and real.
Slide DeckCreate 5–7 slides with your story and voice notes or written script. Use Canva, PowerPoint, or Google Slides.
Audio PitchRecord your pitch as a voice note or podcast-style intro. Add music or sound effects if you want.
Creative FormatSpoken word, animation, photo story, sketched flipbook—anything that shows your idea and story. Be bold!

3. Reflection prompt – “What part of my pitch feels strong? What part feels scary?”

Write 1–2 sentences in your Reflection Journal.

What to Submit

  • Your final pitch (video link, slides, audio, or creative upload)

  • Your journal reflection

“Your voice is the last step in making your idea real.”

And now—you’ve done it.
